Masjid Amanah is a not-for-profit platform for UK masajid. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights below, contact info@masjidamanah.org.uk.
When you use our contact or "Get Involved" form: we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, and message (and, if you provide them, your masjid and role. We use these only to read and reply to your enquiry. The message is delivered to us by email through Amazon SES in the UK/EU (London region) and received in our mailbox (Zoho Mail, EU).
Basic, privacy-friendly analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand roughly how many people visit which pages. It is cookieless and does not track you across other sites or build a profile of you.
Fonts & embedded videos: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and some pages embed YouTube videos using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie mode. YouTube may set cookies only if you actually play a video.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above who help us deliver the site and reply to you.
Data from this website is kept in the UK/EU. Email is handled by Amazon SES (London, eu-west-2) and Zoho Mail (EU); the site is served by Cloudflare. We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to respond and follow up, then remove them.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — and we will. Just email info@masjidamanah.org.uk and we'll respond, usually within a month. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
This policy covers this website. The Masjid Amanah app that a masjid uses with its own community is provided to that masjid, and each masjid is the custodian of its community's data within it; our role there is to hold that data carefully and securely on the masjid's behalf — records in London (UK), with a short list of named services that process specific data elsewhere (for example the optional AI-drafted minutes). The app has its own privacy notice and sub-processor list. See our Transparency page for more.
